Our chiropodist can treat a wide range of conditions that may be affecting the foot. Foot pain, conditions affecting the skin and/or nails, biomechanical misalignment and more are common reasons to visit our office.

One of the leading causes of heel pain is plantar fasciitis. Early diagnosis and treatment are key to preventing chronic discomfort.

Ingrown toenails occur when the nail edge grows into the skin, leading to pain, redness, swelling, and sometimes infection.

Thick toenails are often caused by a physical trauma or a fungal nail infection. The nails can become discoloured, painful and hard to trim.

Plantar warts are small, rough growths that develop on the soles of the feet, caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV).

Nails can become thick, discoloured, or curved, causing discomfort and complications such as ingrown toenails or infection.

Bunions are characterized by a bony bump that forms at the base of the big toe, and a shift of the big toe toward other toes.

Calluses and Corns are areas of thick skin that can develop in response to repeated pressure or friction, often on the feet and toes.

Onycholysis occurs when the nail separates from the nail bed. This often starts with a physical trauma or infection.

What to Expect

We see all patients on an appointment basis. We are committed to running on time, and we ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to help us facilitate an efficient experience. Please provide 24 hour notice for an appointment cancellation in order for us to care for another patient at that time. A fee will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours, and for No-Show’s. When scheduling your appointment, the more information you can give us about your foot problem, the better we can prepare for the visit.

Chiropody services are not covered by OHIP, but are covered in whole or in part by many supplementary health insurance plans. We accept the following payment methods: Debit, Cash, or Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard).

CLAIM SUBMISSION: Knowing your insurance benefits is your responsibility but we are glad to write a predetermination for services if your coverage is unknown. We will assist you in any way we reasonably can to help get your claims paid. We provide receipts suitable for submission to your insurance coverage and additional documentation where necessary.
